How do I care for my bracelet?
Our bracelets are made from 100% silk cord, and genuine gemstones, therefore require delicate handling. Avoid direct sunlight, lotions, makeup, chlorine and cleaning products. While you may want to occasionally wipe your jewellery with a dry or lightly damp gentle cloth, do not wet your bracelet or clean with soap. If your bracelet becomes excessively dirty you may want to seek professional cleaning.
While our silk is pre-stretched, silk may stretch over time with frequent wear or with contact with water. In some situations we will re-thread the bracelet for you, in other cases we will charge a re-thread fee of $12. Please check in terms and conditions for our policy on bracelet stretching.
What happens if my bracelet is in the sunlight?
It depends on the gemstone(s) used! Some stones are tolerant of sunlight, however some stones may change or lose colour, or become brittle and even crack or crumble. While wearing it outside on a summer day will not be its detriment, it it best practice to not prolong sun exposure and store it in a safe place away from windows, and extreme heat and cold.
What happens if my bracelet goes in water?
It depends on the gemstone(s) used! Some stones are tolerant of water, however some are sensitive and can become damaged. In addition, water exposure will cause the silk to stretch excessively. Chemicals like chlorine can cause damage to both the gemstones and the silk.
In addition, we use 14k Gold filled, Gold Vermeil and 925 Sterling Silver beads. Gold filling, and Gold Vermeil are not solid Gold and is an alloy, therefore are susceptible to tarnishing - especially in the presence of chemicals in the water. As for 925 Sterling Silver, while it wont tarnish, the water may cause it to oxidize which will require polishing. This must be done gently to not disrupt the gemstones around it.
If your bracelet has come into contact with water, it's best to remove it, and lay flat to completely dry - away from sunlight.
What if I don't like my bracelet?
Unfortunately due to the nature of custom and made-to-order work, all sales are final. That being said, your satisfaction is extremely important to us! We value including you in the process of all custom orders and will happily provide photos of pattern samples prior to making. We are also happy to go back and forth chatting throughout the process via Instagram DMs to ensure you're satisfied with your final product.
We ask that you please do your part in measuring properly so that the size is not an issue, however if your bracelet does not fit we require a remake fee of $15.

My bracelet broke! What do I do?
If your bracelet breaks within the first 30 days of purchase we will repair it one (1) time for free*. Unfortunately we are not able to cover the cost of shipping, so if required that will be at the buyers expense.
If outside of the warranty period, and you have all the original beads, there will be a $12* re-thread fee. If beads or the clasp are missing please read terms and conditions for guidelines.
